I was crying in my friend’s car last night.
A Higher Power Has YOUR Back!
I was crying because my greatest fears were surfacing to the top of my mind. I realized I was afraid of limiting beliefs that had lurked in the back of my mind and were popping up to the forefront.
I went on this whole spiel to my friends that I’m not the things I’m afraid of being, that I am successful, and that I can accomplish great things. Because we all can. You can, and you will. You being alive is a great feat on its own.
A little bit into my tirade I went on about how my thoughts are not just wishful thinking and that I truly believe that a Higher Power has my back, and I kid you not…
My friend assured me and told me that I am on a path to success, and he said to me, “Speaking of manifesting and a Higher Power, I think you should listen to this next part of this song,” and my friends and I grew quiet.
A Coldplay song had been playing in the background that I had never heard before and was too busy crying to notice had come on.
And words that made me cry again—this time tears of joy—came through the speakers.
“You’ve got a Higher Power,” Chris Martin sang, and my heart was struck with joy. See that? I thought. God—the Higher Power I believe in—really does have my back.
My other friend said, “you don’t find Coldplay, Coldplay finds you,” and the three of us laughed. I told them that it was synchronicity, it was a sign. And they agreed, because it simply could not have been anything else. It simply was.
And this is a short post, but it’s a reminder to you. Whenever you feel you need to give up, or your fears might be realized, just remind yourself of your power and remember that a Higher Power has your back.
I said a Higher Power has my back, and I was given synchronicity and a sign through lyrics and music.
You’ve got a Higher Power.
